Chris
Born in: Boston (grew up in New Hampshire)
Also lived in: Virginia Beach, Hawaii, Minnesota (all over, from Rochester to the Cities to Da Range), Chicago and for five years lived full time in a motor home.
Other companies and jobs I’ve had: In the Navy I worked on an oceanographic research ship and a submarine. After I got out I moved to Minnesota and spent the next five year building high voltage power lines. While I went through college I earned extra money as a skydiving instructor. Once I got my degree I started a Technical Writing firm. At the height of the comedy boom I quit it all to become a stand-up comedian (which is why I was living in a motor home). Getting tired of life on the road I made my way to Hollywood seeking fame and fortune. I ended up finding obscurity and a day job. After marrying my lovely wife, Annemarie (the Founder of our firm), I joined her and she taught me everything I know about recruiting
Education: BA in English Literature from the University of Chicago. Member Phi Beta Kappa society (or would be, if I paid my society dues)
Favorite place in Los Angeles: I love to go to Venice Beach on a warm weekend and take my djembe to the drum circle.
My favorite meal: I worked in a Pizza place in high school. We made very good New York style pizza, and I am a bit of a pizza snob. There is a place called Albano’s on Melrose run by a guy from Brooklyn and one from Queens (a Yankees fan and a Mets fan). Their pizza is the best in the city.
Guilty pleasure: I surf the internet WAY too much looking at interesting photos and videos (NO! Not that kind.)
Unusual talent: I breathe fire. I play hand drums. I can name the lineup for the 1968 Red Sox.
Pet(s): Cats, chickens, fish and two owls. OK, the owls are not pets
Biggest fear: The Zombie Apocalypse comes and I am out of ammo.
Pet peeve: Slow internet.
I geek out on: Fast internet.
Mac or PC: PC. I get a new laptop for $500 that does everything I want.
Technology I can’t live without: My laptop, my smart phone, and headphones to go into one or the other.
Bucket list: Galapagos Islands, Patagonia, India, African safari.
In the zombie apocalypse, I would: Become the leader of a band of crusty but soft hearted zombie killers who roamed the countryside doing good deeds.
